Full Description

At ND 1232 4874, at N end of a knoll in boggy ground, are slight remains of a hut circle almost totally masked by peat and heather. It measures approximately 7m N-S by 6m internally; the wall is too obscure for measurement. No entrance is evident. 35 m to the S, on the summit of the knoll, is a small stony mound 3.5m across, more probably a clearance heap than a cairn.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J B) 9 March 1982.
