Enclosure (NR) OS 6" map (1961)
An enclosure 12m in overall diameter found during field investigation, and consisting of a low bank of grass-covered boulders, 2m broad, with a possible entrance in the E. There is an outward bulge in the bank on the N side and there are traces of a rectangular structure in the SW of the interior.
Visited by OS (ALFR) 9 May 1960
This is a hut circle on a S-facing natural shelf. It measures 10.2m diameter internally and has an entrance in the E. The wall, turf-covered and bracken-overgrown, stands up to 0.8m high and is spread to 2.5m broad; one or two inner and outer boulder slab facings are in evidence. In N sector the wall recesses form a sub-rectangular ante-chamber, 2.8m long x 3.8m across the open end. An amorphous footing occupies hut interior. Two stone clearance heaps nearby are the only indications of associated land use.
Revised at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (JM) 26 September 1978
