Full Description
The butt of a flint axe from Invershin (NH 57 96) is in Dunrobin Museum, possibly received in 1875. (Acc. No. 1875.1).
Info from A S Henshall (Dunrobin Museum catalogue) to OS 1966.
This GR is seriously wrong as gives location W of the river instead of E. - HAW 10.2002
The axehead was catalogued during an inventory of Dunrobin Castle Museum's collection in 2019 by ARCH. Listed under Acc. No. 1875.1 and ARC 11.Is it stored in one of the cupboards. See attached photos. <1>
