Quernstone found AD 1868 (NAT) OS 1:10,000 map, (1971)
"A quern was found while ploughing in the year 1868 which consists of a large stone flag, with a hole about 1.5 inches in diameter in the centre, and three other holes near the margin large enough to admit the finger".
Name Book 1874.
No further information. Visited by OS (R D L) 4 June 1963.
