Scheduling documents (stored in NC35NE0003) refer to a series of cairns at least one of which is believed to be a Neolithic chambered cairn - HAW 11/2003
NC35NE 6 3875 5877.
(NC 3875 5877) A cairn, 25 ft by 16 ft, with an upright pointed stone at the SW end, lies at a height of 1075 ft about 80 yds N of NC35NE 3.

This is a natural accumulation of broken slab in a glacial field. It is a feature of the area.
