Full Description
A steatite lamp, 2.4 ins high and 4.5 ins diameter, from Scourie (NC 15 44), was donated to Dunrobin Museum by F.G. Gower, M.P., probably in 1901 (Acc. No. 1901.1.)
Information from TS catalogue of Dunrobin Meseum (A S Henshall) 1966.
The lamp or bowl was catalogued during an inventory of Dunrobin Castle Museum's collection in 2019 by ARCH. Listed under Acc. No.1901.1. It was on display in case 25 shelf D. See attached photo taken by Michael Sharpe.<1>
