Full Description
Small disused cemetery on the Polin peninsula.
Shown but not labelled on the OS 1st Edition 6" map. Labelled 'Graveyard (Disused)' on the OS 2nd Edition 6" map.
The S side of the Polin peninsula is divided into a series of small narrow plots of land by lines of large stones & low drystone dykes on 3 different levels opposite Eilean na-h-aiteig & overlooking the disused burial ground Cladh Eilean na h-Aiteig. <1>
NOTE: this is presumably the same site noted by former RCAHMS as a possible building on the OS 1st Edition 6" map (see MHG18127) [IS-L 13/05/2024].
