A second archaeological survey of Sandwood Estate in the parish of Eddrachillis was undertaken by ACFA in 2002.
This near-circular feature measuring 10.5m NW-SE by 9.2m is on a WSW facing slope overlooking Loch Innis na Ba Buidhe at a height of about 31m OD. The back edge has been cut into the hillside, and the front edge built up and revetted. The feature is defined at back and sides by a turf-covered bank with some stone showing, standing to a maximum height of 0.5m. Numerous fairly small stones are visible in the revetted front edge, standing to a maximum of0.2m above the natural slope. The interior is largely stone-free, and shows traces of a (probably modern) shallow rectangular hollow. There is an entrance at the southeast side. Immediately outside the platform to the north is a concentration of larger stones, without apparent structure. <1>
The site is visible in vertical aerial photography as a circular earthwork c.12m in diameter. <2>
