The name signifies 'Field of Bread' and there were two small ruins at the site.

What may be a farmstead, comprises one unroofed building as depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xiv). The site comprises one roofed, two unroofed and one partially roofed building, as well as an enclosure and a small system of walls as it is depicted on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1988).
