Full Description
What may be five unroofed shieling-huts are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877-8, sheet xxxvii). Seven unroofed structures, which may be shieling-huts are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1963).

The huts are visible in vertical aerial photography taken in 2023. There may be more than indicated by the the OS 1st Edition map. <1>
