'Torr-na-croiche', the gallows knowe, is so called from its summit being the place of execution of two notorious thieves whose graves can still be seen at the foot of the hill.
D Sage 1898.
No graves were found during field investigation.
Visited by OS 2 June 1961.
Known locally as 'The Gallows Hill'.
Visited by OS (JM) 8 February 1977.
