A beautiful green narrow-topped ridge forming a promontory.
Ordnance Survey: 1871: Object Name Book: 6: 133

According to the old SMR card, this record appears to be based on a placename for a natural promontory. The GR given however is off shore and the promontory is unlocated. GW 01/07/20
