There is no trace of the Cairn of Hattel.

Cairn of Hattel: This was formerly a Pict's House, but it has been entirely removed; there is no account of anything particular having been found in it. (Other remains in the vicinity, noted in the ONB as "Pict's Houses", have since been recognised as cairns - c/f ND16NE 1, 9, 10 or brochs - c/f "Cairn of Simbister", ND16NE 3, or ND16NE 2.)
