Farm (ND 1998 5938). Scarmclate farm complex, still in occupation, centred around a courtyard.

At least three roofed buildings are depicted on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xviii). Three roofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 (1971) and 1:10,000 (1994).
