Full Description
Human burial found during construction work. Likely to be of early Bronze age date (1800BC). The combination of the small stone coffin or 'cist', and the apparently crouched possition of the remains, particularly as they appear to have been lying on their side, indicates this early date. The area was briefly checked but no other remains have been found. EM 06/2004
