Surveying Details

21 March 1986. The wreck was examined 10 October 1985 at 58 20 59N, 003 06 18W. NGR eastings 335330, northings 940630. Trisponder ranges - Clythness 7567 metres; Ulbster 2798 metres; Noss Head 14865 metres. Decca = (n scot) red d 18.40, green a 46.30, purple h 55.70. The least echosounder depth was 42 in a general depth of 46 metres. No scouring was observed. The side scan sonar indicated a height of 4.2 metres. The wreck is lying in two parts - overall length 35 metres (114 feet). Further wreckage, or an isolated rock with the least depth of 43 metres, lies 105 metres south of the wreck.
