The steamship DORIS ran aground.

24 December 1982. The vessel is described as completely broken up, lying amongst rocks with depths of between 6 -24 metres. There are several large sections standing up to 3 metres high, and iron propeller and shaft remain. The name of the vessel is uncertain, but it may have been DORIS, DORIC or DORRICK.
