Full Description

A survey of the archaeological and historic features was undertaken within Abernethy Forest Reserve for the RSPB in 1995.

A sub-rectangular stone-lined depression with three sides remaining N of the Rynettin track. Cut by this track. The feature was 2m E/W, 4.2m NE/SW 3.8m ENE/WNW and had a depth of up to 80cm. A small roofed building was shown on the 1:10,000 OS map. <1>
