'. . . Human remains have been discovered close to it on several occasions - bones etc.'
Name Book 1872.

A low, grass-covered mound 0.8m high and 20m in diameter lies close to the shore or near level ground. Continuous cultivation has all but eliminated this feature.
Resurveyed at 1/2500. Visited by OS (N K B) 16 February 1965.

No change. Visited by OS (J B) 2 November 1981.
