The second of 3 roofed buildings at Rynettin is L-shaped, a converted byre, not shown on the 1863 os map. It is single storey, with a converted loft forming a second storey. It is constructed of large irregular sandstone and granite blocks with lime mortar. At the south end, there is evidence of finer coursing and a lm wide stone platform at ground level. The building is oriented N/S with a turn to the west at the north end. There is a double door and a single door facing north at the gable end and a further double door at the E side. There is no sign of a southern gable which is shown on the 1:10,000 OS map, in addition to the north gable. <1>
