Full Description

This hut circle, as described by RCAHMS, is located at ND 0203 2519 on a gentle SW-facing slope. The 'small mound' mentioned is a stone clearance heap, the only one visible in the vicinity of the hut. The surrounding ground is smooth and stone-free suggesting a small area of cultivation.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (N K B) 25 October 1982.

Not located. Visited by OS (W D J) 29 June 1982.

About 1/4 mile SSE of Wag and some 80 yds below the road is a hut circle. Originally, it appears to have been a turf-built, pear-shaped construction, measuring some 25 by 36ft internally, with an entrance in the SSE, but in a secondary occupation the interior has been reduced to a circular form by a wall built across from side to side having its convex face towards the original entrance. The bank of the original structure, so far as utilises, has been broken through from the W by S. The secondary circle is 18ft in diameter. Some 40 yds to NE is a small mound, about 12ft in diameter and 2ft 6ins high.
RCAHMS 1911, visited 1910.
