16 October 1970. At a place known locally as Bicary Point (possibly after a vessel called BICARY) china plates with a floral decoration have been located in 11 metres. The remains of a large wooden windlass lies on the beach and is dated by the locals to about 1910. The site was located by divers during the summer of 1970. The position given is the approximate location of Bicary Point.

China plates have been found in 13 metres depth in approximate position NG 256 420.
