Full Description
A bone comb and a small stone ring, dug up near a broch in Reay parish (centred ND 0257) were recorded in a volume printed in 1827 as having been presented to Museum of the Northern Institution.

The collection of Museum of the Northern Institution, which accumulated for about ten years from 1825, is now in Inverness Museum. No trace of a 'bone comb' or a 'small stone ring' from Reay was found there.
