On a slight change of slope on a S-facing rise, is a prominent mound of stones 4.5m in diameter by 0.4m high. It is turf-covered and whin-overgrown, and has been disturbed to show its content of rounded stones. No other features are noted. It could be a burial cairn or equally a clearance heap.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 11 August 1981.
