Full Description

Info from R Stephan-Murray to OS, 11 September 1981. Numerous brown and white beach flint flakes, cores, blades and scrapers, of a mesolithic - neolithic aspect, were found on ploughed surface of the Hotel Field. A few of implements show secondary retouching.

The area is now largely under grass with a corner of a new car park forming part of site. No surface flints are exposed and the present whereabouts of the flints are unknown.
