Standing Stone (NR) (site of) OS 1:10,000 map, (1975)

There was at one time a large standing stone here which was believed to mark the site of a grave. The stone, which was removed many years ago, was about 4' high.
Name Book 1873.

There is no knowledge of the existence of a standing stone at this spot. Visited by OS (J B) 8 December 1981.
