Full Description
Hut circle: recorded during May 1993 ahead of felling mature trees. Full details are lodged with Dualchas, Skye and Lochaish Museums Service.

An Archaeological Survey of the townships of North & South Screapadal, with a survey of the surrounding area, on Raasay was undertaken by ACFA in 1997
Feature 19; Hut circle. Lying 8m to the east of the forest road and 80m north of the recently repaired bridge is a somewhat ruinous hut circle. The sub-circular setting of large boulders and slabs set on edge standing to a height of 0.5m is about 8m in diameter. The probable entrance to the south is about 0.8m wide. The thickening of the wall at this point, almost producing a passageway, may indicate that this site belongs to a type well represented on nearby Skye. <1>
