ND24SE 12 2590 4463.
Levelled into a S-facing slope is an oval stone-walled hut 'A' measuring 10m N-S by 8m transversely between the centres of a well-defined peat-covered wall spread to about 3m all round. The entrance in SSE is unusually wide being about 2.7m. About 16m due W is an identical hut 'B' which is not so well-preserved. A mutilation in W arc has exposed the stone content of the wall. The entrance is in S. There is no trace of contemporary cultivation.
Surveyed at 1/10 000. Visited by OS (I S S) 12 April 1972.
