GR corrected to above from 1st ed OS - HAW 10/2003

Longhouse (ND 1697 6320). Dimensions: 20.25 x 5.2m. Rectangular tripartite structure, the SE unit residential, the NW unit probably functioning as a winnowing barn due to its opposing doors. There is a smaller structure nearby, 5 x 4m, containing a row of cubby holes. Orientation NW-SE.
Barn (ND 1700 6290). Range of roofed barns arranged on three side of a rectangle, still in use.

One roofed building and an enclosure are depicted on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness, sheet xii), but not on the current edition of the 1:10,560 map (1970).
