Full Description

A number of small circular tumuli on each side of the Parliamentary road at Greystones (ND 245 543) were levelled about 1841.

No trace of these alleged cairns was found.

Hut circle (ND 2334 5780). Internal diameter: 8m. Circular structure defined by turf banks 0.4m high, interior scooped below level of surrounding ground. Possible entrance in SE quadrant.
Hut circle (ND 2331 5777). External diameter: 13m. Circular structure defined by turf banks with an internal diameter of 7m. It has a scooped interior and a possible entrance in the SE sector.
