Longhouse (ND 1972 6048). Dimensions: 8 x 5m. Rectangular structure with opposing fireplaces. Orientation E-W.

A farmstead comprising three roofed buildings is depicted on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xii). One unroofed building is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1970).
Information from RCAHMS (FO) 26 February 1996
The site was visited during a walkover survey by C Dagg in 2000 in advance of a proposed new water main. It was found to lie on the opposite side of te road from the proposed route and would remain unaffected by associated works. <1>
