Longhouse farm (ND 1740 5555), comprising;
A:Longhouse. Dimensions: 21 x 5m. Bipartite rectangular structure. The E unit contains opposing fireplaces. An outhouse 2.5m square lies 12m SE. Orientation E-W.
B: Longhouse. Dimensions: 17 x 4m. Tripartite rectangular structure formed of low grassy banks 1.5m high, lying 3m W of C. Orientation N-S.
C: Enclosure. Dimensions: 20 x 30m. Rectangular enclosure 5m N of A.

A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by RPS Consultants in July 2006 in advance of a proposed wind farm development near Spittal, Caithness.
A longhouse croft with one gable left standing, orientated NW-SE. Shelved alcove in gable beside fireplace. Addition on NW end only survives as partially turf-covered walls to 1m in height. <1>
