POLICY - The Council encourages local initiative in repairing and improving local harbours and hopes to continue cooperating with other public agencies in support of a continued programme of work under the Special Measures Programme.

Depicted on 1st and 2nd edition OS maps when Staxigoe was a major small harbour. Many buildings are depicted on these early maps that are no longer extant <1> <2>.
