A DBA and walkover survey were carried out by GUARD in 2009 in advance of a proposed wind farm development at Glenmorie.
Site 19: The northern building is defined by turf & bracken covered banks with stone clearly visible. A series of compartments are present within the buildingwhich appears 13 m by 8 m at its maximum width and length. Approximately 11 m to the south the faint remains of a rectangular building exists defined by wide low turf and heather covered banks up to 1-2 m in width & 0.3 m in height. Most stone is visible at the northern end where it appears more cairn like while the southern end is has been buried/removed by upgrading of the track for the estate hydro scheme.
