Union Tavern
This was one of several ‘tippling houses’. Mr Storm owned the Tavern for many years and he and his family lived next door in Tavern House. <1>
The 1901 census records Margaret Smith as the spirit dealer at the Union Tavern. Her son Simon (a tailor) and niece, Mary Young (a dressmaker) lived with her. <2>
