What may be an unroofed shieling-hut is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1876, sheet xvii), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 15 May 1996.
This site was identified from the 1st edition OS 6-inch map in a walk over survey by Highland Archaeology Services in advance of a proposed development in 2010 and subsequent watching brief in 2011. It was not visited or recorded however, as was not likely to be affected by the development. It was suggested to be a a bothy rather than shieling hut. <1> <2>
