Full Description
A possible shieling hut at Loch an Laoigh.

Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 8 May 1996
The site was visited and recorded during a walkover survey by Firat Archaeological Services in 2017 in advance of a proposed hydro scheme. The site was seen to be a small rectangular structure on a knoll indicating two phases of construction. Drystone construction with implied upper turf walling, 5.5m x 3.2m and 0.6m high. The remains of an earlier building or disused extension at the south end suggests there may have originally been a larger building on this site. <1>
