Full Description
Standing Stone (NR) OS 6" map, (1959)
A stone 7ft long and 1ft 6ins broad. (Not in RCAHMS inventory.)
Name Book 1871.
Situated at ND 2129 4365 in a peat bog is a rectangular pillar now leaning towards W. it measures 1.5m long, 0.4m broad and 0.3m wide, and it does not have the weathered look of a standing stone. Its purpose cannot be ascertained but it is probably not an antiquity.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (I S S) 14 April 1972.

There is no obvious reason why this stone can not be a prehistoric monument.
