26 May 1949. A submerged obstruction was located at 58 38 50N, 003 07 50W - or bearing 180 degrees and 1111 metres from Cannisbay Church Bridge.
Report relayed from a motor vessel by Wick Radio, 8 May 1949.

18 January 1985. No reference was made to this obstruction on the BUE Subsea survey.
