21 July 1978. Anchors, mooring chains and wires are known to exist on the seabed within a radius of 1000 metres from the special yellow buoy established at 572148n, 054130w.
Report by Scottish Development Department with reference to the designated area - inner sound of Raasay - specifeid in the Notice to Mariners 2/78.
21 March 1984. The foul area extended to sw between a) 57 21 33N, 005 42 22W; b) 57 20 53W, 005 42 51W; c) 57 20 49N, 005 42 31W; d) 57 21 22N, 005 42 06W.
Report by Scotish Development Department.
9 December 1988. The buoy at the centre of the area has been withdrawn. Report by BUTEC.
