NH19SE 18 1528 9308
What may be an unroofed shieling-hut is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Cromartyshire 1881, sheet xxii) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 14 February 1996
This building was visited in the course of a walkover survey in May 2009. It was observed to be a substantial rectangular stone-walled building on a knoll just above the township head dyke. It is too large to be a shieling and was probably originally one of the township buildings. <1>
