Not to be confused with Banavie, Railway Swing Bridge (NN17NW 19).
This viaduct was built to carry the Mallaig extension of the West Highland Rly (a subsidiary of the North British Rly) across the River Lochy supported on cylindrical cast-iron piers which were finished in masonry above the high-water mark.

This bridge crosses the River Lochy at Castle Pool, where it forms the boundary between the parishes of Kilmallie and Kilmonivaig.
