Full Description
Three buildings are noted on the OS 1st edition map, with four being shown on the 2nd edition. Three-quarters of the outline of a croft are shown on the present 1:10000 and survives on the ground. The site lies in a clearing amid thick brich trees and some aspen.
Information from Ann Wakeling, 26/9/96 and 8/12/99
Sluggangranish. A stone structure, rectangular in plan and measuring approximately 4.5 m by 11 m and with mortared walls (0.5 m high), has a sunken forecourt, c.5 m by 11m, to the south across its frontage. A path bisects this site with the forecourt to the south-east and the building to the north-west. There is some dumped wood and chicken wire within the building. The site is within a opening within birch woodland. <1>
