Full Description
Half a small cylinder of bone, possibly a knife handle, was found during clearance of a site at Lower Dounreay, and was donated to NMAS by Atomic Energy Authority, Dounreay.
Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1968.
No further info was obtained regarding this find.

This object is listed in the NMS catalogue under Acc. No. HR 1289. It is described as a portion of a cylinder of bone, split lengthwise with one end sawn across and the other with internal bevel. It was donated by the Atomic Energy Authority in 1966. <1>
