Full Description

NN19SW 1 unlocated

There is a polished stone axe (263F), found in Lochaber and presented by Miss M M Clarke, in the West Highland Museum, Fort William.
Information from West Highland Museum.

There is a stone axehead on display in West Highland Museum from Lochaber which may be the axehead described above. This needs confirming though as the Acc. No. for this axehead, WHM 117, does not match that given in the description above, and it is also possible that they are two separate axeheads from Lochaber. <1>
