Full Description
The remains of the 'Queenshouse' consist of one longhouse lying in an east to west alignment and a secondary smaller cottage lying perpendicular to this at its western end. The houses are surrounded by a retaining dyke, with rig and furrow cultivation to the west of the enclosure. Two other raised areas within the enclosure may be the sites of earlier structures, though only the southernmost example had remnants of masonry to support this. <1>
