OS 6" map, Caithness, 2nd ed., (1908)
A conflict took place near the junction of Allt Leanaidh Laoigh with the Breeiedale River, between some Sutherland and Caithness men about some calves, stolen by the former. The dead were buried under these few small cairns.
Name Book 1877.
A few small, insignificant peat mounds, barely distinguishable on heathland.

Only natural features noted. Visited by OS (J M) 20 October 1982.
