Full Description
A trough quern (datable 2500 - 1400 B C) of micaceous schist, measuring about 60 cms by 46 cms, was found by Mr Angus Grant on 3rd March 1977 when removing gravel within the Inchnacardoch Forest. It is to be donated to Inverness Museum. Nothing of archaeological interest was noted at the site by Dr Close-Brooks.
