Full Description
Air photographs have been taken of the deserted settlement at Milehouse of Nuide. (see archive for details).
Information from J Harden 1989.
A township, comprising twelve unroofed buildings and five enclosures have been recorded by oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1996) to the SE of Milton Burn. It is depicted as twelve roofed buildings and seven enclosures on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet cii). Ten unroofed buildings and four enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1972). A military road (MR 2) runs immediately to the SE of the township (NN79NW 51.00).
