What may be an unroofed shieling-hut is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1881, sheet xvii), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).

This site is visible on vertical aerial photographs and appears to be a stone building measuring 9m x 3m with a small northern outshot. <1>
